Do you have parking for transient aircraft?

Yes, transient parking is available and is managed by the Fixed Base Operator (FBO), the Mather Jet Center.

Are T- hangars and covered parking available for light general aviation aircraft?

T- hangars and other covered parking are not currently available at Mather. Some tenants do offer fee-based hangar parking.

Are Airport Rescue Firefighting (ARFF) services available?

Sacramento County Airport System ARFF services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Where can I park my car? How much is it to park?

Free automobile parking is located directly across from the terminal building. Additional free parking is available just east of the terminal at 10510 Superfortress Avenue.

Can I rent a car at Mather Airport?

Hertz Rent-a-Car has an office located in the terminal building. Hertz can be reached at 916.231.4780

What are the operating hours of the FBO?

The Mather Jet Center is open 24 hours, seven days a week. Customer service personnel are available 6 am – 10 pm Monday through Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm Saturday and Sunday.

Where is the FBO located on the field?

The Mather Jet Center is located on the north general aviation apron. Mather ground Freq 121.85 can give you “progressive taxi” to the FBO.

Does Mather Airport have a restaurant on-site?

Mather Airport does not have a restaurant in or near the terminal. However, several restaurants are located nearby.

Is Mather Airport a controlled airport?

Mather Airport is an FAA controlled airport. The tower operates continuously except for the following:

9 pm Saturday to 5 am Sunday AND 9 pm Sunday to 5 am Monday
