Sacramento International to Detroit Metro Nonstop Flight Announced

Delta Flights Linking California’s Capital and the Motor City Take Off April 2010

SACRAMENTO, CA. — Delta Airlines initiates nonstop service from Sacramento to Detroit Metro Airport on April 7, 2010. The new service links California’s capital with the Detroit – also known as Motown and the Motor City.

More flights at Sacramento International Airport - especially convenient, nonstop flights - help business and leisure travelers to reach key destinations and,” said Roger Dickinson, Chairman of the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors. “Detroit’s is a key connection for the Sacramento region due to its strength in the technology and transportation sectors.”

The new service offers the convenience of daily flights five days a week and will increase to seven days a week this summer. The schedule is as follows:
