ACDBE/DBE Programs

Learn about our Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) & Airport Concessionaire Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) Program

The Sacramento County Department of Airports (SCDA) encourages minority and women-owned firms to participate in business opportunities within SCDA. Our Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) is governed by the requirements of Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 49, Part 26.

SCDA does not certify firms but accepts the certification of the State of California Unified Certification Program. To request a certification package, please contact the California Transportation website at www.dot.ca.gov/hq/bep/business_forms.htm. SCDA Requests for Bids (RFB) and Requests for Proposals (RFP) are advertised in various local papers, as well as at this web page and www.saccountybids.com. We encourage certified DBE firms to attend all pre-bid and/or pre-proposal meetings. Our bids and proposals are usually advertised for at least 30 days before closing.

The County of Sacramento is a member of a Unified Certification Program (UCP) administered by the State of California Department of Transportation (CalTrans) which will make certification decisions on behalf of the County for DBEs. For more information and application visit: http://www.dot.ca.gov/hq/bep/ucp.htm.
