Get your beach on! New service to Cabo starts in June

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Alaska Airlines has announced it will begin new nonstop service between Sacramento (SMF) and San Jose Del Cabo (SJD) beginning Saturday, June 10. Initial service to this popular Mexican beach area will be once per week during the summer season.

Los Cabos International Airport is about half an hour from Cabo San Lucas and the beaches and resorts along the coastline at the tip of the Baja peninsula. Sacramento last had nonstop service to Cabo in 2010.

Alaska Airlines will operate the flight using Boeing 737 aircraft with the following schedule:

Sacramento- Los Cabos

  • 12:50 p.m. - 4:55 p.m.

Los Cabos-Sacramento

  • 5:55 p.m. - 8:04 p.m.

Alaska Airlines is located in Terminal B. Inbound arriving passengers from this new flight will clear customs and immigration in the Customs and Border Patrol facilities in Terminal B.
