SeaPort Airlines Begins Service Between Visalia & Sacramento

SACRAMENTO - SeaPort Airlines will begin offering 12 weekly nonstop flights between Sacramento and Visalia beginning  today. SeaPort received a contract to provide service as part of the Essential Air Service (EAS) program administered by the US Dept. of Transportation. The EAS program provides subsidized service that connects small communities with the national air transportation system at hub airports.

SeaPort customers will check in at Ticket Island 3 between Hawaiian Airlines and Aeromexico on the second level of Sacramento International Airport’s Terminal B. Customers will fly on a nine-seat Cessna Caravan turboprop airplane. 

The Portland-based scheduled commuter airline is offering special incentive fares of $39 each way between Visalia and Sacramento. Passengers can book reservations at www.seaportairlines.com

The schedule is as follows:

Depart Sacramento                                   

  • Flight 5301 – 11:40 a.m.

  • Flight 5303 – 6:45 p.m. 

Arrive Visalia

  • 1:05 p.m. (except Sunday)

  • 8:10 p.m. (except Saturday)                        

Depart Visalia                                             

  • Flight 5302 – 5:00 pm

  • Flight  5300 – 9:45 am

Arrive Sacramento

  • 6:25 p.m. (except Saturday)

  • 11:10 am (except  Sunday)
