Sacramento International Airport executes Community Workforce and Training Agreement

Sacramento, CA -  A CWTAThe Sarcamento International Airport (SMF) recently executed Community Workforce and Training Agreement (CWTA). is a type of Project Labor Agreement (PLA) that includes community-oriented commitments related to equitable workforce development, social justice, small business support, and other issues, ensuring the project's labor workforce will aid in the development of the regional workforce.

The CWTA will be applied to six of the seven projects that make up the SMForward expansion program at SMF. 

The $1.3 billion SMForward capital program which will bring about significant improvements and upgrades to enhance the customer convenience, comfort, and accessibility at SMF while meeting passenger traffic demands.
