Customers Leaving Airport After Midnight Aug. 3-4 May Experience Delays
SACRAMENTO - Caltrans has scheduled roadwork at Sacramento International Airport after midnight on Aug. 3 and Aug. 4 that may impact travelers who are leaving the airport. Drivers are advised to expect delays and to watch for detour signs.
Proposed plans are as follows:
WEDNESDAY AUG 3
- Onramp for southbound I-5 on Airport Blvd. closed from midnight until 5 a.m.
- Onramp for northbound I-5 on Airport Blvd. closed from midnight until 7 a.m.
THURSDAY AUG. 4
- Onramp for southbound I-5 on Airport Blvd. closed from midnight until 5 a.m.
- Onramp for northbound I-5 on Airport Blvd. closed from midnight until 7 a.m.
On most nights, about a dozen flights arrive at Sacramento International Airport between 11 p.m. and midnight.
