JetBlue to Offer Nonstop Service to Boston Beginning June 18

JetBlue will begin offering seasonal nonstop service between Sacramento (SMF) and Boston (BOS) beginning June 18. It is the first time this destination has been available as a nonstop from Sacramento International Airport.

Service is timed to coincide with the busy summer travel season, ending on Sept. 7. Flights are scheduled on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Tickets go on sale today.

“We have been trying to get nonstop service to Boston for many years and are thrilled that JetBlue has decided to invest resources in this route,” said John Wheat, Director of Airports.

With its historical architecture and vibrant night life, Boston is a popular leisure destination while its high-technology centers draw many business travelers. The new route will connect seamlessly with JetBlue’s service to east coast cities, Florida, Bermuda, and the Caribbean.

Flight times are as follows:

JetBlue also offers two daily nonstop flights to Long Beach and one to New York City. It is located in Terminal A.
