Lane Closure Scheduled for Tuesday, July 5; Add Extra Time to Get to Airport

SACRAMENTO - Roadwork near Sacramento International Airport is expected to impact traffic on Tuesday evening, July 5.  Caltrans will be installing new overheads signs and plans to close one lane on northbound Interstate 5 from 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 5 - 5 a.m. Wednesday, July 6. Travelers are advised to add extra time to get to the airport during these hours.

The exit ramp on Airport Boulevard will NOT be closed unless safety concerns arise.

Caltrans roadwork on northbound I-5 near Sacramento International Airport is almost complete and no additional exit ramp closures are scheduled, according to Caltrans.
