Southwest Airlines Takes Off from Sacramento to Nashville –  Nonstop Service Now Available from SMF!

February 24, 2023 (Sacramento, CA) Sacramento County Department of Airports is pleased to announce the launch of nonstop service from Sacramento International Airport (SMF) to Nashville International Airport (BNA) beginning Saturday, March 11, 2023.

The flights will initially operate on Saturdays only and will expand to Saturdays and Sundays beginning September 9 and 10, 2023. Tickets for the new service are already on sale, and this flight is expected to be very popular among both business and leisure travelers.

Nashville is a vibrant city known for its rich musical heritage, diverse food scene, and lively nightlife. Visitors to Music City can enjoy live music performances, explore the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, or take a tour of the historic Ryman Auditorium. In addition, Nashville is an excellent base for exploring the beautiful countryside of Tennessee. Visitors can take a day trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, visit the charming city of Chattanooga, or explore the birthplace of rock 'n' roll in Memphis.Nashville is also a popular destination for bachelorette trips, with groups flocking to the city to enjoy the lively nightlife, amazing food, and great shopping.
